Sat just back from the PoCo Traboulay Trail at Freemont Village, Northpaw is another popular pitstop along the Nurburgring of the Tri-Cities. If a cream ale is your thing then Northpaw is the brewery for you.

Generally favouring lighter beers over the strong, heavily hopped brews prevalent in other breweries, Northpaw is a good stop for getting some easy-drinking refreshment.

Equipped with a modest patio (and even more modest bike rack) you’ll struggle to get a seat on a warm, sunny day. The taproom itself is a no-nonsense drinking spot adorned with high-tops, stools, and a mural of all their past and present  beers.

Northpaw have gone the in-house catering route unlike their neighbour, Tinhouse. The menu’s a quick read but offers some strong and classic pairings for your ale (hot pretzels, yes please!).
